We are always happy to help with any questions that you may have with your wooden hot tub, hot tub accessories or saunas.

All we ask is that you take a look at the FAQs below to make sure that we haven’t already answered your question. If you cannot find your answer here, please feel free to contact us here.
Where and how do I site my sauna?2019-01-29T15:41:41+00:00

Our sauna can be situated either inside the home or out all that’s needed is a level base to stand it on e.g. patio, concrete, decking, floorboards and a suitable electricity supply.

How much does a sauna cost to run?2019-01-29T15:41:13+00:00

Saunas cost pence to run each day as unlike a swimming pool or hot tub you only pay for the time you are actually using them.

What are the health benefits of saunas?2019-01-29T15:40:42+00:00

The health benefits of saunas are well known. They stimulate circulation and respiration, relax tired, aching muscles. They detoxify skin through perspiration resulting in a healthy complexion and the dry heat of the sauna relieves congestion.

What access is needed for a sauna?2019-01-29T15:40:14+00:00

Access is never a problem for either our hot tubs or saunas as we assemble both on site. Installation of either a hot tub or sauna generally takes one full day.

What, if any, site preparation is needed for a sauna?2019-01-29T15:39:35+00:00

There is no definitive answer to this question, but there are a few points to keep in mind. The closer to the house the better, a hot tub right outside the door is very convenient-after all you don’t want to hike the bottom of the garden with the neighbours watching! Privacy and setting are most important. As part of our service we can advise on siting and design, just send us site dimensions and a photograph and we’ll suggest some ideas for your proposed site.

How do we keep our hot tub clean?2019-01-29T15:36:49+00:00

A chemical starter pack and testing kit is supplied with your hot tub plus a water treatment booklet. When the tub is installed a practical water treatment demonstration will be given. You’ll also be shown how to change the filter.

Does the hot tub need to be plumbed in?2019-01-29T15:36:12+00:00

No, a garden hose is all that is required to fill our hot tub and can also be used to empty the tub into the nearest drain or to water the garden (assuming no chemicals have been added in the last 48 hours). We suggest you empty your hot tub every 8 weeks.

What electrical supply do we need for our hot tub or sauna?2019-01-29T15:35:42+00:00

This depends on which model tub or sauna you buy, but we require you to employ the services of a qualified electrician. We can liaise with the electrician to ensure everything is correct and our requirements are met before we install the tub.
