Hot Tubs (12)

For the luxury!

Standing a full 4ft in height, Riviera hot tubs are deeper than acrylic spas. This extra depth increases buoyancy creating a wonderfully, relaxing, luxurious hot tub.

All Riviera Hot Tubs are made from the finest kiln dried cedar wood. Cedar is renowned for its longevity and our premium grade cedar wood hot tubs boast the thickest staves on the market. There are no liners or acrylic shells in our hot tubs just wonderfully tactile and aromatic cedar.

All wooden hot tubs are available in 5ft, 6ft and 7ft diameters.

The benefits of hydrotherapy have been known for thousands of years, ancient civilizations enjoyed bathing in hot water springs and hydrotherapy was born. Hydro massage, as we call it, is both physical and mental. There are three factors at work in a hot tub, heat, buoyancy and massage, combined they create a perfect environment that can be used to treat a number of ailments from arthritis to minor sports injuries.

Immersing your body in hot water raises the body temperature causing the blood vessels to dilate, resulting in increased circulation and endorphins, your own natural painkillers. It also helps reduce blood pressure and high blood sugar levels. Our tubs are deeper than conventional acrylic types, making you more buoyant, you lose over half your bodyweight, relieving pressure on joints and muscles, creating a relaxing sensation you can’t get in a normal bath.

The massaging action in the water is created from the bubble bench and jets positioned in tub, these send a mixture of warm water and air through the jet nozzles, gentle massaging away all those aches and pains caused by the daily stresses of today’s fast pace of life. Simply soaking in a hot, swirling, tub will, we guarantee, leave you mentally and emotionally relaxed. Twenty minutes in the morning can give you a fresh start and a long soak before bed can help improve sleep. A hot tub is something you’ll want to experience every day, relaxing in your own garden. We can’t think of a better way to unwind at the end of the day.

Approximately, from one pound a day, depending on size of tub, season and usage. All our tubs come with three operating modes designed to suit your daily needs. Experience of ownership will improve efficiency and further savings can be made by running thetub in economy mode and heating overnight using ‘off peak’electricity.

As standard all our electric tubs come with a rigid thermal vinyl cover and an energy saving floating foam blanket. The top cover keeps out the elements, tree debris, dust and pets etc and has a three point child proof locking system, whilst the floating foam blanket reduces heat loss and evaporation.

There is no definitive answer to this question, but there are a few points to keep in mind. The closer to the house the better, a hot tub right outside the door is very convenient-after all you don’t want to hike the bottom of the garden with the neighbours watching! Privacy and setting are most important. As part of our service we can advise on siting and design, just send us site dimensions and a photograph and we’ll suggest some ideas for your proposed site.

Only the highest quality kiln dried cedar wood is used from the core, or heart, of the tree. Each stave fits precisely together with the circular base, and are held tightly in position on base by three stainless steel hoops. Once the tub is filled with water, the wood swells to form a watertight seal somewhat like a boat or wooden keg for maturing wine. This practice called cooperage has been widely used for centuries and is extremely effective.

Access is never a problem for either our hot tubs or saunas as we assemble both on site. Installation of either a hot tub or sauna generally takes one full day.

This depends on which model tub or sauna you buy, but we require you to employ the services of a qualified electrician. We can liaise with the electrician to ensure everything is correct and our requirements are met before we install the tub.

No, a garden hose is all that is required to fill our hot tub and can also be used to empty the tub into the nearest drain or to water the garden (assuming no chemicals have been added in the last 48 hours). We suggest you empty your hot tub every 8 weeks.

A chemical starter pack and testing kit is supplied with your hot tub plus a water treatment booklet. When the tub is installed a practical water treatment demonstration will be given. You’ll also be shown how to change the filter.

Each hot tub model has a digital control pad to control temperature, jets etc. Again a practical demonstration will be given on installation, you will also be given an instruction booklet on its operation.

Access is never a problem for either our hot tubs or saunas as we assemble both on site. Installation of either a hot tub or sauna generally takes one full day.

The health benefits of saunas are well known. They stimulate circulation and respiration, relax tired, aching muscles. They detoxify skin through perspiration resulting in a healthy complexion and the dry heat of the sauna relieves congestion.

Saunas cost pence to run each day as unlike a swimming pool or hot tub you only pay for the time you are actually using them.

Our sauna can be situated either inside the home or out all that’s needed is a level base to stand it on e.g. patio, concrete, decking, floorboards and a suitable electricity supply.
